From private airside plane spotting to world-famous Maho Beach, each destination brings a different aviation experience to the journey; with three relaxing sea days aboard Celebrity Apex for AvGeek fun, new friends and plenty of time to simply enjoy the ship.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 6
Day 2 — At Sea
Celebrity Apex
Our first full day at sea means plenty of time to explore Celebrity Apex and the beginning of our quest to determine who really is the Ultimate AvGeek.
11:00 AM — Ultimate AvGeek Trivia Challenge: Round 1
Think you know aviation? It's time to prove it.
Our cruise-long Ultimate AvGeek Trivia Challenge begins with the first of three rounds held throughout our sea days.
Scores accumulate from round to round, ultimately leading to the presentation of the coveted Ultimate AvGeek Trophy and some very serious bragging rights on our final day at sea.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 8
Day 4 — St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

For an AvGeek, this pretty much is paradise: turquoise Caribbean water, a beautiful island and airplanes arriving just offshore.
Choose how you'd like to experience aviation in St. Thomas:
Beach Day Watching Incoming Planes or Catamaran Around Runway!
Spend the afternoon relaxing and swimming at a beautiful Caribbean beach near the airport, with aircraft arriving and departing nearby. Enjoy the water, relax on the beach and keep one eye on the approach.
Transportation included with your AvGeek Program.
Beach Plane Spotting — Included in Program
Optional AvGeek Catamaran Experience — Approximately $350 Per Person
We're also working to arrange a private AvGeek catamaran experience for guests who want to take their plane spotting offshore, sailing around the airport runway with time to swim, snorkel and enjoy St. Thomas from the water as aircraft arrive and depart overhead.
Estimated price: approximately $350 per person.
This optional experience is subject to sufficient guest interest and final confirmation. Let Meridia know if interested.
With Celebrity Apex remaining in port until 7:00 PM, we won't schedule any Meridia activities that evening. Enjoy every minute of St. Thomas before heading back aboard.

Day 6 — At Sea
Celebrity Apex
After three aviation-packed days in the Caribbean, it's time to slow things down, enjoy the ship and continue our search for the Ultimate AvGeek.
11:00 AM — Ultimate AvGeek Trivia Challenge: Round 2
The competition continues with the second round of our cruise-long aviation trivia challenge.
Scores from Round 1 carry forward as we get one step closer to determining who will take home the Ultimate AvGeek Trophy.

Celebrity Apex arrives at 7:00 AM
All good flights, and cruises, eventually have to come in for a landing.
After breakfast, we'll say goodbye to Celebrity Apex and our fellow AvGeeks as we return to Port Canaveral.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5
Day 1 — Welcome Aboard!

It's time to board Celebrity Apex and officially begin the AvGeek Cruise!
Get settled into your stateroom, explore the ship and start meeting your fellow AvGeeks as we prepare to leave Florida's Space Coast behind and head for the Caribbean.
AvGeek Welcome Reception & Cocktail Hour - 5:00pm
That evening, we'll officially kick off our week together with a private AvGeek Welcome Reception & Cocktail Hour at Celebrity Apex's beautiful Rooftop Garden.

Created exclusively for Meridia AvGeeks, our private plane-spotting experience takes us beyond the public areas of the airport and into a restricted airside location for an up-close look at arriving and departing aircraft.
This is exactly what the Aviation Geek Cruise is about: unique aviation experiences in gorgeous locations!

Private Airport Tour + World-Famous Maho Beach
ur day begins with a private aviation-focused tour of Princess Juliana International Airport, giving our group a closer look at the airport behind one of aviation's most famous approaches.
Then it's on to world-famous Maho Beach, one of the most legendary plane-spotting locations on the planet.
Watch aircraft descend dramatically toward the runway with the Caribbean beneath them and finally experience in person the aviation setting you've seen in countless photographs and videos.

It's all been building to this.
Our third and final round will determine the winners of our cruise-long competition. Once the scores from all three rounds are tallied, we'll crown our champions and present the Ultimate AvGeek Trophy to the winning team.
Bragging rights? Those last considerably longer.
